I collaborated with installation artist Kim Jae-kyu to design and execute a ceramic-glass installation that explored themes of shared memory, cultural repetition, and domestic ritual. Drawing inspiration from the gift-based trade culture of the Swahili Coast, I conceptualized forms that integrated Swahili-style glass beads with Korean ceramic traditions, creating a cross-cultural dialogue through material and form. In curating the exhibition, I carefully considered audience interaction and the alignment of artworks within the space to deepen engagement and highlight the installation’s layered meanings.
